A New Era of Luxury for an Iconic Legend
In the 1920s, William and Rosamund Vanderbilt created a splendid winter estate on a tropical island in South Florida, bounded by Biscayne Bay and the blue Atlantic. Their storied retreat was named Fisher Island, in honor of Miami Beach pioneer developer Carl Fisher.
Today, the lush 216 acre island has been lovingly restored to its former grandeur as the ultimate private club, with the finest residential and recreational amenities to be found anywhere in the world. At the heart of this exquisite tropical retreat is the incomparable Fisher Island Club, offering a renewed tradition of infinite care and attention to the needs and desires of its Club members and guests.
The Beach Club – Serenity Awaits
Airy and elegant white seaside pavilions provide shade and synergy for the stunning all-new Beach Club. Superbly situated along a scenic expansive stretch of private, uncrowded white Bahamian sand beach, Club members and guests enjoy both pool and oceanside relaxation plus extensive lounging areas, casual dining and consummate staff attention.
The arrival of sunset over Biscayne Bay heralds a very special time of day at The Beach Club. Thatґs when Club members and guests can be found gathering at the outdoor Sunset Bar for pre-dinner cocktails and a chance to enjoy nature at its finest.
Dining on Fisher Island – itґs all about romance and cuisine

Awaiting your Private Yacht
Just as William Vanderbilt arrived by yacht to his Fisher Island home, today many Club members and guests utilize the islandґs two deep water marinas as their entry to this secluded paradise. Recently redesigned with Brazilian hardwood decking, the Marina offers 131 slips and is capable of accommodating vessels up to 250 ft. New weather protected power pedestals provide all services and a well stocked shipґs store is close at hand. Fisher Islandґs superb location allows yachtsmen to be in the Gulf Stream within minutes after departing their slip at the marina.
